A Central region teenager has won a record-breaking GHC3000 to become “Youth of Kristo Asafo Got Talent” champion of the tech exhibition at the 2019 YoKA camp.

Nana Kwadwo Safo, won the first price of the competition in the 2019 YoKA camp held at the University of Ghana, Legon under the sponsorship of Emeritus Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo and Kwadwo Safo Jnr, Chairman and CEO of Kantanka Group of Companies respectively.

Offei Atiemo won GHC1500 for coming second and Yaw Safo winning GHC1000 for the third position.

Nana Kwadwo Safo, stood laughing and shaking his head as the crowd erupted when his name was announced.

He told Nana Kobena Safo Nelson of Kantanka.net “I want to upgrade my invention to create employment with my cash prize” he said.

Nana Kwadwo Safo invented a censored dispenser to dispense organic drinks to clients. Named “Delicious Drink Dispenser”, you dropped in a coin, and it triggered a valve to open for a period of time, dispensing the drink and stops when full.

The tech event session of the YoKA Camp is seen as a major moment where talented teenagers from the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana are identified.

The YoKA Got Talent finals saw 7 participants battling on giant stage.

Hundreds of youths including National and Regional executives of the church were present to witness this year’s event.
